    In our ongoing effort to keep the community up to date with regard to COVID-19, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne provides you with the following information: We have received confirmation from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) that nine (9) of our residents at the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility have tested positive for COVID-19, as well as 10 of our staff. Abram was born on March 27, 1943 in Tsi Snaihne, the son of the late Mitchell and Theresa (Cooke) Phillips. On June 7, 1969, he married Patricia Oakes at St. Regis Catholic Church with Rev.     An Akwesasne man is facing numerous charges after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop and ramming a state police vehicle. On Saturday, Jan. 2, state police say troopers stopped a vehicle on state Route 37 in Fort Covington for allegedly speeding, 46 mph in a posted 30 mph zone.
