    By Andy Gardner. AKWESASNE – The Akwesasne Thunder won three consecutive wins against Gloucester, Kahnawake, and Nepean, wrapping up the 2024 regular season with a 12-8 record. Two of those bouts were decided in overtime. Their regular season closer was at Earl Armstrong Arena against the Gloucester Griffins, who the Thunder beat 8-7.     AKWESASNE – The Snake Island Muskies are leading the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League with three consecutive wins and no losses. Their third game of the season played Saturday, June 8, saw the Muskies host the Kahnawake Mohawks. The Mohawks, who played without any of their import carded players, got off to what looked to be a good start scoring the first goal. The Muskies rallied quickly.
