AKWESASNE – The Snake Island Muskies are leading the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League with three consecutive wins and no losses. Their third game of the season played Saturday, June 8, saw the Muskies host the Kahnawake Mohawks. The Mohawks, who played without any of their import carded players, got off to what looked to be a good start scoring the first goal. The Muskies rallied quickly. MALONE – The family of a lacrosse player from Franklin Academy is pursuing legal action against an Ogdensburg player who struck a Huskies player in the head with his stick, resulting in a concussion, during an April 20 match at Crowner Field in Malone.
