    On September 12, 2019 at approximately 6:30 AM, Akwesasne Mohawk Police responded to a residence in the village of Kana:takon (St. Regis) where an individual had discharged a firearm into a motor vehicle. Police canvassed the area, and later received information that the suspect was walking in the adjacent neighborhood with a firearm.     By Andy Gardner State police have charged a Hogansburg man with felony marijuana possession after he was allegedly found with more than 10 pounds of the plant on the Northway. Jeremiah Steenburg, 41, was pulled over in the southbound lanes on the Northway near Exit 17 on Sept. 12, the Glens Falls Post Star reported.
