    For the first time ever, The Moving Wall will arrive in Akwesasne at the American Legion Post #1479 on Thursday, July 19th. The Border Eagle Riding Motorcycle Club will escort it from the corner of Main and Orvis St. in Massena starting at 10 a.m. Volunteers and construction crews have been working hard to prepare for the arrival of the 260-foot wall.     On Wednesday, July 4th, a shooting took place at a River Road residence in Snye. Following a verbal altercation, three men leaving a residence were shot at. After an investigation in to the reported shooting, police arrested 36-year-old Robert Jon Lazore at the residence where the shooting took place, on weapons related charges.     The Akwesasne Women Warriors travelled to Whitby, Ontario this past weekend July 6th-8th to participate in the Annual Chicks with Sticks tournament. The first game on Friday was a loss to Toronto Stars by a score of 6-3. Scoring for the Warriors was Shaydi Oakes with 2 goals and Heather Square with one goal.     Gary White and Sheila Ransom make a trip every year to a basket show. This year they returned home to discover Gary didn’t need keys to unlock his door--it was already busted open. Sheila recalls most of the house not looking like it had been broke into.
