    AKWESASNE. The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council signed Tribal Council Resolution #2019 - 28 on Wednesday, Ohiarihkó:wa/July 3, 2019 adopting a Residency Ordinance that was passed by tribal referendum on Ohiarí:ha/June 1, 2019. Tribal members voted 493 in favor of the Tribal Council adopting the ordinance, with 217 votes in opposition and 28 votes voided.     The Akwesasne Iron Girls: Karen Francis, Amanda Jacobs, Tasha Thompson and Terri Rios-Passon participated in the 2019 Women's Philadelphia Triathlon – Women's PHLTRI on Saturday, July 6, 2019. The triathlon consisted of a 300-meter swim, a nine-mile bike ride and a 5k run.     (Ohiarihkó:wa/July 2, 2019) On May 13th-May 15th, the Federal Indian Day School Class Action settlement was heard and court was adjourned pending a decision from the Federal Judge Justice Phelan. At this time, no decision has been rendered regarding the Indian Day School class action.
