    The Truckstop #9 gas station on Route 37 in Akwesasne was robbed by an armed individual Thursday night. At approximately 11:30 p.m., security footage shows a masked man entering the gas attendant’s booth where an employee was sitting. The robber stepped inside, quickly glanced around, turned his back to the attendant and pulled out a gun.     This past Tuesday the St. Regis Catholic Church parish said farewell to its priest of more than 15 years, Rev. Edgar Belgarde S.J. At the age of 75, Father Belgarde was eligible to retire from priesthood but relies on the orders of the diocese.
