Akwesasne Storm Prepares for Provincials in Ray Broadworth Memorial Tournament

Akwesasne Storm U9 Lacrosse team, earned second place to Kahnawake.
Akwesasne Storm participated in the Ray Broadworth Memorial Tournament in Gloucester this past weekend. Gloucester, Sudbury and Kahnawake also took part.
Akwesasne Novice came up short with a loss to Gloucester 6-4. The U9 Akwesasne Storm also came up short but proudly winning silver to Kahnawake. After playing against Gloucester, Sudbury and Kahnawake, they worked their way to the final game against Kahnawake. In a nail biting – all out fast game, Akwesasne Storm lost for the first time ever against Kahnawake.
Both teams gained a sense of the upcoming provincials. All players had a great weekend and played with true spirit and meaning of lacrosse.
