St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police blotter, May 19-24:

On May 19, police charged Mathew D. Tanzini, 26, of Saranac Lake with a warrant. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone, in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond.

On May 20, police ticketed William B. Lazore-Benedict, 21, of Akwesasne, N.Y. for inadequate headlight and unregistered motor vehicle. Tickets are returnable to Bombay Town Court on June 20.

On May 21, police ticketed Kalilynn Besaw, 20, of Tupper Lake for inadequate headlight. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on June 19.

On May 22, police ticketed Kaitlyn C. White, 22, of Hogansburg for inadequate headlight. Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on June 5.

On May 23, police picked up Hannah M. Martin, 24, of Massena on a bench warrant. She was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

On May 23, police ticketed Brian F. Mitchell, 58, of Hogansburg for speeding (allegedly 54 mph in a 35 mph zone). Ticket is returnable to Tribal Court on June 5.

On May 24, police charged Michael J. Ransom, 58 of Akwesasne, N.Y. with unlawful possession of marihuana, speeding, driving while intoxicated and refusal of a chemical test. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and released with a June 20 return date.

Massena village police:

Jose E. Barreiro, 68, of Rooseveltown Road, Hogansburg was charged with speeding at 9:26 a.m. May 24 on East Hatfield Street.

New York State Police:

Carrie A. Square, 41, of Hogansburg was charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding at 1 a.m. May 27. She was cited and released, troopers said.

Krista L. Loran, 19, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana: possession of 25 or more grams at 2:35 p.m. May 18 on state Route 37. She was cited and released, troopers said.

Kimberly A. Johnson, 47, of Hogansburg was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation: alcohol, windshield tint violation and unregistered motor vehicle at 7 a.m. May 29 at 71 Tony Barnes Road in Bombay, troopers reported.

An 18-year-old female from Hogansburg was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor, at 12:05 a.m. May 27 on Ann Street in Norfolk. Police said she allegedly possessed more than one pound of pot. Troopers withheld her name and did not reply to a request for her identity. She was ordered held pending court action, troopers said. Also charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana stemming from the same incident were Andrew C. Senecal, 21, of Norfolk and Tyler A. Valdez, 20, of Potsdam, police said.
