The first season of the Akwesasne Women's Soccer season came to a close, and as with any championship game, it went right down to the wire.
Hilltop Inflatables scored the only goal in this game last Sunday at Salmon River against the Stars and the action went back and forth right down to the final whistle. The awards ceremonies were held in near darkness on the track at SRCS.
The Most Valuable Player awards were handed out with the selections from all teams handed out. They were Stephanie Collins of the Sergi's Strikers, Lindsay Kennedy of the Stars, Amanda Smith of Hilltop Inflatables and Amanda King of the Arrows.
