Volleyball Tournament to Benefit Jacco Girls Headed to South Africa

 


On Saturday, A co-ed 2x2 Volleyball tournament was held to benefit sending Shaylan and Haylee Jacco to South Africa on June 28, 2013. The Jacco’s are doing a humanitarian program with the Reach Out Volunteer Program over in South Africa. The duration of the project for the girls will be two weeks overseas.

The Reach-Out Volunteer program will allow the Jacco’s to interface with the indigenous people of South Africa and participate in wildlife conservation efforts in the area.

The event had 7 teams, and was 25$ per person to enter. Winners received t-shirts and food, and got to know they were helping a good cause.

Upcoming events for the pair include the welcome to the Jungle Benefit Dance on June 1, and another benefit volleyball tournament on June 1.
