Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Niawen:kowa to all participants in this year’s 2012 Akwesasne Winter Carnival Photo Contest. We had a wonderful response to this year’s event, and we appreciate all the entries.

The photos were all precious and it’s always hard to narrow them down to the top six but after all votes were in and counted the winners were determined. I would like to thank the staff of Akwesasne Child and Family Services and the staff at Kanonhkwatsheri:io that were able to come out and vote for the contest, it was a difficult task and we appreciate your help. This year there were two categories “Cute as a Button” and” Moments with Tota” . The Winners for this year contest are as follows:
