Raiders Hustle past the Shamrocks on Retro Night

The Red Raiders went back in time to tight shirts, short shorts, headbands, wristbands and 25-cent hot dogs last Friday night when they hosted the Salmon River Shamrocks on Retro Night. There was nothing retro about the Raiders as they defeated the Shamrocks 65-25 in the NAC Interdivisional match up.
Ky Tarbell played strong defense for the Shamrocks.
At the end of the first quarter Massena had gone ahead 22-8 and went on to score 18 unanswered points in the second quarter.
Zack Rusaw sparked the Raiders balanced offense with 18 points while Rhoades Tarbell followed with nine. Robert Cameron netted eight and Justin Bestor contributed seven. Zach Hopps added six, Troy Myers with five and George Sloan chipped in four. Joe LaBelle and David Phillips put in three points each while Zach Fregoe closed out the score sheet with two points.
For the Shamrocks Josh Hynes drained four three pointers for 12 points followed by Ky Tarbell with four points. Russ Oakes struck for three points while Kiio Jacobs, Colby King and Justin Bigness each contributed two points.
