A familiar face and returning player is Kiawentonteh Casey Swamp (LW).

Continuing the list of players are: Carter Trevisani (D), Daniel Sauve (D), Alain Quenneville (LW), Kris McCarthy (D), Patrice Brunet (D), Martin Beauline (C), Jeremy Van Hoof (D), Nicolas Corbell (C), Ahmed Mahfouz (LW), Addison Pelkey (RW), Patrick Deraspe (C), Miguel Delisle (RW), Pierre Dagenais (RW), David Plouffe (G), Paul Shantz (RW) and Sylvain Deschetelets (C).

Here are the games that have taken place up to Sunday, Oct. 30th – on Thursday Oct. 27, the Warriors traveled to Maine to face Brooklyn for their first game of the season. Brooklyn scored three to Akwesasne’s two goals.  The following night was the home opener for our Akwesasne Warriors with a stunning light show as the players advanced to the ice in front of approximately 600 fans.  Our home team Akwesasne defeated visiting Vermont with a score of 9-6, and the game was filled with a lot of action.  The next day was another travel day for the local team as they headed to Vermont to compete against Vermont again. Akwesasne brought home the road win this time by a score of 6-4.

Scoring leaders so far are Pierre Dagenais being in 1st with 10 points and right behind him is Sylvain Deschetelets in 2nd place with 9 points.  It is so impressive to see Akwesasne right there at the top again.  The FHL standings as of Oct. 29th puts Akwesasne at third place.

The next games for the Warriors are Saturday, Nov. 5 against Danville and Nov. 6 again against Danville.  The next home game is Nov. 9 against Danville and Nov. 11 at home against Thousand Islands.
