1963-1987

During Lyle Crofoot’s career as a music teacher at Salmon River, he had his Marching and Stage Bands participating at football, basketball, and hockey games.

Lyle also had his Pep Bands playing at numerous sports and school

functions, including Pep Rallies in the gymnasium prior to big sporting events.

Lyle also served as the announcer and scorekeeper for several Shamrock sports and at various school events.

Lyle could also be heard for years on WMSA as a radio personality.

In 1987, Lyle was cited by First Lady Nancy Reagan for his outstanding work and dedication to the students of the Salmon River CSD.
