MMA Blood Brothers II

With the success of MMA fight Blood Brothers I, Walk High Productions and Flint Warrior MMA presented MMA Blood Brothers II at Jacobs Tobacco Company Nov. 28 with special guest UFC fighter Mike Massenzio.

The event begun with an exhibition by youth powwow dancers, Sasta Thomas and Kiannah Thomas, who displayed their dancing talents in the ring before the audience and fighters. The event was announced by Sub-chief Ron LaFrance.

Blood Brothers II had some familiar faces from Blood Brothers I as well as many new ones. The event consisted of 4 amateur and 3 professional fights. Anthony Leane won the first amateur fight against Doug Sonier in the first round by submission. Taylor Solomon won against his opponent Anthony Derubo in the first round with an impressive KO. Todd Liberati won against R. J. Schuangemetti by submission in the first round. And finally, Tom Bloomingdale won after an exhausting 3 rounds against D. J. White by score card.

The first of three professional bouts was won by Guyson Sa against his opponent Dave Colabella by submission in the first round. Ryan Contaldi won the second against Mark Gervais by score card in the third round. And the final professional fight was won by Collin Schrader against Nick Pontieous by submission in the second round.

An Akwesasne favorite Dee Hart was scheduled to fight in the event but did not because his opponent failed to make weight.

Blood Brothers II was well attended and featured many talented fighters.
