A Voice from the Eastern Door

Harvest Fair at Tsi Snaihne School

On Friday, October 24th, students from Tsi Snaihne School were busy celebrating fall with their annual Harvest Fair. Various events were taking place throughout the school. Events included traditional dancing, face painting, corn bowling, relay races, autumn bingo, and a fall art project. Students were encouraged to come to school in their finest ‘harvest apparel’. Group leaders in grades 2 and 3 led their early years teammates to different classrooms for each activity. The harvest fair helps students learn important skills such as leadership, map reading, co-operation and caring while also enjoying the day’s events. As you can see on the children’s faces, everyone had a wonderful time.
