Black Knights Drop Two in Maine

The Black Knights traveled to Hallowell, Maine over the weekend to participate in the IJHL Super Elite Showcase.  The team played at the Kennebec Ice Arena (KIA) against the Springfield Junior Pics 8pm Friday night and Mass Mariners at 7:45am Saturday morning.

At the end of an eight-hour trip, the Knights still managed to give Springfield a game losing 6-4.  Seth Rosenthal (Watertown) scored two goals, Kyle Carpenter (Plattsburgh) scored one goal, Aaron Jacobs in what Coach Pat Martin described as his best outing to date, scored one and assisted on two others and Jack Harris, Max Shea and Wallace Thompson each added one assist.  Justin Delormier stopped 36 of 30 shots in the loss.

Saturday’s early morning game was a poor outing for the Black Knights dropping a 5-0 game to Mass Mariners.  The Knights return to play this weekend in Princeton, NJ against the New Jersey Kings.
