RCMP officers from the Valleyfield Detachment issued arrest warrants for several individuals as part of Project Cendrier on December 12, 2017. This past Friday December 8th, 2017 the Akwesasne Holiday helpers and sponsors hosted their annual jail and bail, $20,000 raffle and Mohawk auction. Community members were able to sign up for a Christmas basket before the sign-ups were closed at 4 pm the same day. The Akwesasne Cultural Center held their first 'Make a Craft Fair' this past Thursday, December 7th from 1pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. There were several different stations to make different crafts.
