    Massena Central’s hockey and basketball seasons are underway with eight athletes from Akwesasne contending as Red Raiders for 2015-16.     The Massena Lady Raiders hockey team opened 2015 with a 4-0 win over visiting the Oswego Lady Buccaneers. After 7:46 of play, KC Herne passed to Raechel Davis for the only goal Massena needed. Davis then scored two in a row just 31 seconds apart in the second stanza. Assists went to Claire Tyo, Maddie Mailhot and Amber Thomas.
