    Akwesasne Territory. On November 10, 2011, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Council met with Salmon River Central School District representatives. The purpose was to provide input to a contract to continue educational services to Mohawk children at the St. Regis Mohawk School and Salmon River Schools. The contract is between the school system and the state of New York. The previous contract expired in June 2010. Ober (age 19) had fired a shotgun twice and was in the back yard threatening to kill himself. They did things a little bit different this year by giving everyone an equal opportunity to win the numerous and innovative trees that people donated by selling raffle tickets instead of holding an auction.     The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Science Fair was held on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Kana:takon School. The Fair had 74 projects entered with 101 Grade 6, 7 and 8 students from Ahkewsahsne Mohawk School and Kana:takon School participating.     To honor our veterans that fought for our freedom, Tsi Snaihne School held a Veteran Breakfast on Thursday, November 10th in the school cafeteria.
