    FORT COVINGTON – A felony count of second-degree criminal sale of marijuana and a misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child is what Brett A. Laughing, 17, of Fort Covington, is facing after his arrest Wednesday for allegedly distributing marijuana brownies to his classmates.     An Akwesasne youth is missing, and the family desperately needs your help in finding him. Timothy John Benedict-Leaf was last expected to be headed to Cornwall to go out with friends.     New York State reportedly owes the Massena Central School District $800,000 and the Salmon River Central School District $3.4 million to cover tuition for Native American students who live on the reservation and attend those schools. The state owes Salmon River payments dating back to the 2010-11 school year, which is $12.3 million overall when including the St. Regis Mohawk School, which is funded solely by the state.
