    The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is reminding the community that as of January 23, 2015, community members’ fines for Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) car seizures at any CBSA port are no longer paid for by MCA. Since September of 2009, MCA has paid the $1000 and up fines for Akwesasne community members who had their vehicle seized for the first time by CBSA.     During the March Break, Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Community Health Program, led by Aaron Jock, sponsored a Health and Fitness Camp for 25 kids. The goal of the Health and Fitness Camp was to encourage the children to be active and to live a healthy lifestyle.
