    We held our annual fundraiser on Saturday September 29, 2012, it was a huge success. We had a record number of team participating in the trivia, 24 teams. The winning team was “One Tota and Three Moms” Renee Adams, Heather David, Agatha Thompson, and Susie Jacobs.   • Medicine Game Held at Iakhihsohtha

    On Sat. June 16th, a Medicine Lacrosse game was played for the residents, staff, families and guests of Iakhihsohtha by the ACFS/Boys and Girls Club youth group. The intention of the Medicine Lacrosse game is to uplift the spirits of those watching and for the brief moment in time for those watching to think of other things rather than what is troubling them.     The Akwesasne Mohawk Singers were in to visit us at Iakhihsohtha. The ladies joined us for lunch then sang Christmas carols. We sang along to most of the songs, but there was one number that we certainly did not know the words to: the Akwesasne version of the 12 Days of Christmas, we certainly got a kick out of it.
