1st Place: Matt Thompson & Terry David
Akwesasne - On Saturday, November 18th the Family of the late Wallace Jacobs Sr. held their annual Shuffleboard Tournament & Turkey Shoot at the American Legion Post 1479 in Akwesasne. This is the 9th year they held the tournament, and many wait anxiously to participate. To show their appreciation to the players each year, the family treats everyone with a delicious meal, gifts and door prizes throughout the evening.
This year's 2023 winners of the Tournament are as follows: 1st First Place went to Terry David & Matt Thompson; 2nd place went to Joel Herne & Herta Norton and 3rd Place went to Rawi White & Jeff Premo! Most memorable shot of the night went to Bobby Lazore! The winner of the joker board for North Franklin Hockey was Andrew Jacobs who kindly donated $100 back.

The Jacobs family would like to thank all the players who came out this year & those who stepped in! Everyone had a really great time and there was non-stop laughter throughout the day & night!
