The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne has informed the community there will be a referendum vote held to approve or deny the Seaway Settlement Agreement that was approved by Mohawk Council Resolution June 11th, 2018. Voting will open on Friday August 11, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and close on Friday August 25, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
