AMPS Response to All Media Inquiries  

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service is continuing to investigate the deaths of eight individuals in our community in March 2023. 

AMPS has communicated with the next of kin regarding the investigation and will directly provide them with information when the investigation concludes or when there are significant updates that can be shared. 

Until that time, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service is not providing any new media comments on this incident. While we do respect the media’s interest in seeking information, we are unable to share details of the open investigation.
