The Cornwall Ribfest Akwesasne Day was a great success, and it all took place at Lamoureux Park, Cornwall on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Akwesasne Day was part of the four-day Ribfest and the day featured Akwesasne Women Singers, Akwesasne Freedom School Singers and Dancers, the River Mohawk Band, and Lone Wolf & The Spaghetti Corner Band.

As Ribfest organizers said, "It was a day dedicated to celebrating the Akwesasne community and its arts and cultures."

Everything started at 11:00am and went late into the evening. Beside such delicious ribs, briskets, blooming onions and fresh lemonade, carnival rides and live entertainment kept everyone entertained and happy.

The Cornwall Ribfest wrapped their busy schedule on Friday, July 24, 2022.

Akwesasne Freedom School students and teachers shared songs and dances with the Ribfest crowd.
