The Department at SUNY Potsdam is accepting on-line applications for full-time, temporary, Instructional Support Associate to supervise the chemical stockroom, coordinate the general chemistry laboratories, and teach undergraduate Chemistry courses. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related area, experience working with chemicals, basic knowledge of safe laboratory working practices, good people skills, reliability, and attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include: an MS degree in chemistry or biochemistry, experience with the following: teaching in chemistry or biochemistry laboratories, operating a chemical stockroom and preparing chemical solutions/samples, maintaining an inventory system, and familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and other safety regulations.
