FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

FULL-TIME TERM POSITION (April 2022-August 2022) (w/ possibility of Indefinite Hire) AKWESASNE CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY & SOCIAL SERVICES

Salary Level: CUPE Start $51,084.00

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the Family and Traditional Support Unit Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for the provision of front line prevention services that support families and reduce risk factors present within the family or home, through direct support to clients and families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BSW preferred, BA in related field accepted.

Minimum Educational qualifications: Two (2) years of completed College in the Social or Behavioural Sciences field (ie: Law and Security, Child and Youth Worker, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Criminal Justice, Psychology) with one (1) year work experience in social work field;

Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination mandatory.
