10. 28. 21 Franklin County reported thirty-three (33) new cases of COVID and one forty-six (46) are active COVID cases and eighteen (18) cases have been discharged,
Last week Franklin County reported thirty-one (31) children were reported to the local health department as testing positive. The age ranges are as follows:
11 children in the age range of 0-4 years old
16 children in the age range of 5-12
4 children in the age range of 13-17
Since July, the statistics show 65% of those testing positive are not vaccinated leaving 35% as breakthrough cases. 21 people were hospitalized with COVID 19 last week and it was reported that Franklin County had two deaths associated with the COVID 19 virus.
Moderna and Pfizer booster shots are available throughout Franklin County including local pharmacies, & Franklin County Public Health vaccination clinics.
