AKWESASNE HOUSING AUTHORITY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 


The Housing Advocate, as a team member under the supervision of the Housing Services Manager, will perform all duties pertaining to the admissions and occupancy requirements of all housing assistance programs operated by the Akwesasne Housing Authority (AHA) and other agencies who offer housing services consistent with the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s goals. Additionally, the Housing Advocate works with the Housing Services team in the coordination and implementation of project specific training modules and community initiatives for the AHA, including but not limited to financial education, homebuyer education, home maintenance, prequalification analysis, lease compliance and any other specialized programs for the benefit of housing participants. Partnering with other community organizations with similar target groups and goals may be assigned.
