Free Wild Edible Webinar Series

 

Pat Banker, Cornell Cooperative Extension Franklin

A free 3-part webinar series discussing the identification, safety recommendations, historical usage, and sustainability of wild edibles will be available both as a recorded series or join in live for webinar presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension educators, Pat Banker, John Bowe, and MB Mitchum. Sessions are Thursday, June 25, 1:00 pm and Thursday, July 2, 1:00 pm.

Webinar 2 will include chicory, Queen Anne's Lace, oxeye daisy, common milkweed, burdock, and yarrow. Recipes will also be included.

Webinar 3 will include stinging nettle, evening primrose, wild leeks, Jerusalem artichoke, cattail, white pine, and staghorn sumac. Recipes will be included.
