Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

With the uncertainty regarding Covid 19 and its continued effects on large gatherings, the Powwow Committee has no recourse but to cancel the 2020 Akwesasne International Powwow. Our 20th Annual was gearing up to be a proud milestone for our entire community and it brings the Committee no joy in making this declaration.

We continue to hold the health and wellness of our community and guests as priority number one, and the risks posed this year are just too great to ignore.

We thank our Powwow family for their understanding.
