Emerging Invasive Forest Pest Class

 


Cornell Cooperative Extension invites forest-land owners, arborists, foresters, other land managers, and concerned citizens to learn how to identify, prevent, and manage new invasive pests which pose a threat to northern forests. Topics include Asian lanternfly, hemlock woolly adelgid, and oak wilt. Class includes a field session; please dress for the weather.

The class will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 9:00 AM (8:30 registration) until 3:30 PM in the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES Education Center, 40 West Main Street, Canton NY, Classroom A. The cost is $10.00, which includes lunch and materials.
