Thirty-five years of service: Alvena Delormier. Alvena started driving "back in the day" when there was no such thing as automatic and all the busses were manual/shift. She started driving as a second run on Kawehnoke (Cornwall Island) which assisted bus driver Irene Roundpoint. Her first field trip was to Ottawa to visit the Parliament Building. It was very nerve-racking to her. She indicated that it's not true that kids give you gray hair, because she does not have any, and still doesn't have to dye her hair.

She loves her job and will be driving for many more years to come!
