Father Jerome will be away on vacation from July 14TH - August 17TH, 2018. There will be NO WEEK DAY MASSES during his absence. We are pleased to welcome Father Andrew J. Amyot from Norfolk, NY who will be saying Saturday and Sunday masses while Father Jerome is away.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY: Please join our St. Regis Church volunteers who are celebrating Christmas in July by gifts of food and soap to the needy in our community. The Christmas spirit is meant to be everlasting, and not only on December 25th. Please leave items for the disadvantaged on the shelves in the vestibule of the Church. NIAWEN KOWA!

AMERICAN FEAST DAY OF ST. KATERI TEKAKWITHA JULY 14, 2018

Although Canada’s liturgical calendar designates the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha on the date of her death, April 17th, the United States liturgical calendar celebrates her feast on July 14th. We can celebrate our Mohawk saint on both dates! Usually there is a special celebration at Auriesville, NY the birthplace of Kateri, and at Fonda, where she was baptized. Kateri bore the cross of illness with sincere love. Her last words before her death on April 17, 1680 were, “Jesus. Mary. I love You.”

2019 FIRST COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION ENROLLMENT: Father Jerome will be teaching confirmation classes and Vicky Phillips will teach First Communion classes for 2018-2019. Enrollment will commence on July 17, 2018 and will be ongoing into September 2018. Please contact Vicky Phillips at the Rectory on Wednesdays between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm at 575-2753. Father Jerome will visit the families of the enrollees during the month of August.
