Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

A blessed congratulatory expression is being extended to all the youth and adults who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday, May 26th, 2018. God bless each of you as you continue your spiritual and faith journey as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

It was a pleasure to instruct and share our Christian faith with the youth and adults as they prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, and to have the Most Reverend Noel Simard, Bishop of the Diocese of Valleyfield, celebrate the Mass, along with Father Jerome Pastores.

Thank you/Niawenko:wa to all the confirmands, their parents/guardians and families, all the Grandparents, friends, sponsors, volunteers and the community for their generous support, especially the family of Hilda King, namely Guzzy Lazore, Elaine Lazore, Lyle Lazore, Maureen Benedict, Lorraine Bero, Valene Gray and family, and their entire family, for the delicious meal and the lovely cake served at the dinner with the Bishop at the St. Kateri Center following the Mass. I wish to acknowledge the participation of the Knights of Columbus, altar server - Morgan Roundpoint, the ushers, and the Church Choir along with Cole Phillips. Thank you/Niawenko:wa to the Altar and Rosary Society for the decoration in the Church, and to Marsha White for her photography expertise and time. I wish also to recognize and give a huge hug to the volunteers for cleaning the St. Kateri Center, setting up the tables and chairs, and decorating for the dinner, especially Rosalie, Russell and Emily.
