SALARY: MG07 $61,895.50 - $64,371.32

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Associate Director, Post-Secondary and Adult Learning, the Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the support of AMBE’s Post-Secondary and Adult Learning programs.

• Manages financial agreements.

• Builds respectful, customer-service oriented, caring relationships between AMBE/Iohahi:io and post-secondary and adult students.

• Develops/updates and implements administrative and operational policies, practices and procedures to ensure an efficient, effective and vibrant learning environment.

• Ensures that a quality assurance framework is in place to ensure the ongoing integrity of administrative and operational support services.

• Contributes to the development and implementation of organizational policies, procedures, practices and systems.

• Develops and continually improves policies, workflows, systems, procedures, practices to provide effective and/or efficient program and service delivery.

• Collaborates with the Academic Manager and key community stakeholders.

• Leads the annual organizational planning and budgeting framework by co-creating the academic activity plan and a calendar of academic and student support activities in collaboration with the Academic Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree with 5 years relevant management experience, preferably in the field of Administration or Business

OR

• Associates Degree with 7-10 years relevant management experience, preferable in the field of Administration or Business

• A professional designation in finance or other administration field will be considered an asset.

• Preference will be given to a First Nation candidate.
