ONE YEAR TERM POSITION W/ POSSIBILITY OF PERMANENCY DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES

 


Salary Level: DS 05; STEP 2-3; $53,519.72- $55,660.51

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible to clinically supervise the IATC Case Supervisors and Case Aides to ensure individual client care plans of each client are appropriately managed and the medical and treatment plans are administered and followed according to medical/clinical recommendations as well as policy and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in field of Counselling, Mental Health or a related Social Service discipline OR

• Bachelors Degree in the field of Social Work, Nursing or Treatment and Recovery Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC) with 5 years experience.

• Must have strong professional knowledge and comprehensive clinical assessment skills in treatment, recovery or disease management.

• Experience, ability and skills in working with adolescents are an asset.

• Ability to work in crisis situations with clients/patients including adolescents and adults.
