Last week, students from the southern portion were off on Spring Break and the Rooseveltown club was there for them. "Staycation" is an annual program where the club opens during the day as opposed to its regular afterschool hours of operation throughout the school year.

The tech center, arts and crafts room, multi-purpose room and the playground outside were all open for business.

In keeping with their healthy lifestyles policy the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Health Program came in and held Healthy Habits workshops, teaching the kids about healthy snacks.

In the tech lab the students enjoyed computer art design and there were other fun activities held throughout the week.

This Friday, April 28, the club is hosting a dodge ball tournament for ages 10 through 16.

The first session is 6:00pm for ages 10-12 and 8:00pm for ages 13-16. All are welcome.
