1) Advertising & Media Sales Representative

Full-time, Non-Exempt

Summary: The tasks and duties of the Advertising & Media Sales Representative are to Sell or solicit specific advertising mediums and product as the solution that will connect the client with their target audiences.

Essential duties: maintain assigned account bases while developing new accounts; process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts; prepare and deliver sales presentations; obtain and study information about clients products, needs, problems, advertising history and business practices.

Education and/or Experience: Equivalent to completion of two years of college-level coursework in business or a field related to the work; or equivalent combination in marketing and sales. Media production experience is considered to be an asset and must possess word processing skills.

Knowledge of: marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstrations, sales techniques, media production, communication, word processing, spreadsheet, internet and email software, and broadcast industry technology.

2) Business Development/Marketing Coordinator

Full-time, Non-Exempt

Summary: responsible for helping to devise, develop and deliver a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development, income generation and awareness-raising for ATV. You will also be the supervisor to the Sales and Marketing division and help to raise the company’s branding and media profile within our demographics by defining a new communication strategy and implementing a solid sales and marketing strategy.

Essential Duties: research into relationships being developed and manage effective partnerships with both existing and new key corporate partners, government and municipalities; innovate and offer new ideas and approaches and build relationships with other prospective business partners and with other networks and members where appropriate; create, develop and execute a proactive sales strategy; build and manage a high-performing sales team;

Education and/or Experience: requires knowledge, skills and a relevant degree in business and/or marketing-related subject; a Master’s degree is preferred; at least 5 yrs. experience working in a business development role in a corporate environment; at least 3 yrs. corporate marketing and branding experience; at least 3 yrs. experience of developing and implementing partnership development activities.

3) TV Producer

Full-time, Non-Exempt

Summary: plan and coordinate various aspects of television, stage or motion picture production such as selecting script, coordinating writing, directing and editing.

Essential duties: plan and schedule programming and event coverage, direct and coordinate activities in broadcast news, sports and programming; establish work schedules and assign work to staff; monitor network transmissions for advisories concerning daily program schedules, program content, special feeds or program changes; prepare copy and edit tape to prepare for broadcasting; confer with directors and production staff to discuss issues such as problems, budgets, policies and news coverage; other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: bachelor’s degree in Media Arts, Mass Communications or related field and 5 yrs. experience in a previous program director position or related areas; 5 yrs. of television/broadcast related experience or any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Knowledge of: principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction; word processing, spreadsheet, internet and email software and broadcast industry technology.
