A Voice from the Eastern Door
NOVEMBER 10th to 13th
On Thursday at noon the elders (only) of our community will be treated to corn soup and biscuits; afterwards they will preview our beautiful display of Christmas Trees. For our Totas we will be hiding 5 pickle ornaments in the trees for a chance to win $10.00 in tickets. The meal is sponsored by Indian Time Newspaper.
On Friday at 9:00am school children get to view our display of Christmas trees. After walking though the display they will be treated to a snack sponsored by the Akwesasne Community Partnership Fund.
Tickets will be on sale during the previewing.
On-going activities:
• Children’s Secret Santa Shop (no parents allowed)
• Mohawk Auction –benefit for Tsi Snaihne & Kanatakon School and Tsi Snaihne Recreation
• Quilt raffle
• Local craft vendors
• Concession stand
• Memorial Tree benefit for St. Regis Church
• We will also be collecting non-perishable food at the Memorial Tree for the Friends Helping Friends Food Pantry. When you make a donation you will receive a ticket at a chance to win one of three Visa Gift Cards.

• Fill out a feedback form for a chance to win a $50.00 gift certificate
On Sunday find one of five pickle ornaments and win $10.00 in tickets!

Tickets prices are $5.00 for 6 tickets plus 2 door-prize tickets.
All items & tickets are in Canadian currency.

Saturday, November 12th
10:00am to 8:00pm
Sunday, November 13th
10:00am to 4:00pm
All raffles will take place on Sunday at 4:00pm
