Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

The Akwesasne Animal Society thanks everyone who attended the Strut Your Mutt event this past Sunday. It was a cold, windy day but the turnout was great and the pets looked so cute in their costumes. We hope you all had fun. The volunteers and raffle basket donations were as follows: Fluffy Tails Grooming & Pet Supplies, Shereese Thomas, Kamea Thomas, Amberdawn Lafrance, Sheila Jacobs, Brydon White, Divalissa’s Homemade Treats, Puppy Style Treats & More (Kaly White), Noonie Thomas, Lori White and Aimee Benedict. Thank you to the awesome pet owners who collected pledges for us and to everyone who donated, we raised $840.17 for the animals! It is all very much appreciated. Niawen! Jennifer Herne, Director.
