With the first month of the new school year in the books, the Kawehnoke School celebrated by honoring their hard working students.

The awards ceremony was held last Friday, October 14 and the theme for September was Respect. In addition to their awards the Students of the Month were given certificates for Boston Pizza. Another added attraction for this year's awards ceremonies are "Box Seats." Three students were drawn and those chosen were set up to watch from a box seat set up on the side of the gym.

Students were recognized in the areas of Attendance, Math and Reading, as well as Athletics. Students were also recognized for Caught Being Good. When they did a favor for someone they were given a trinket to wear. All students are to be congratulated for their hard work.
