Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

Students! Youth Volunteers!

Individuals are URGENTLY needed to help make ‘Our Home’ more interesting by volunteering a few hours a day to do any of the following tasks:

• Fill birdfeeders

• Water houseplants

• Sweep dust, dirt and cobwebs from the front doors, windows of our building

• Help decorate the building with seasonal decorations

• Plan, Organize and Implement a special activity/event for the Folks

• Put outside gardens ‘to bed’ for the winter

• Pick up the litter from the building’s grounds

• Read the daily newspaper/books/magazine articles to an Older Person

• Bring news from the community by sitting and sharing with an Older Person

• Assist an Older Person with ‘programming’ their TV to favorite satellite channels, or

• Assist an Older Person(s) to the TV room to watch evening programs: Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, etc.

• Assist an Older Person with listening to music on CD, radio or ipod.
