The first day back to school is over. Everyone is back on schedule and we can all relax and settle into the 2016/2017 school year. The Akwesasne Mohawk Board of Education had over 607 students return to the Akwesasne Mohawk School, the Kana:takon School and Tsi Snaihne School this year. Salmon River Central saw 1581 students walk into their school on the first day. Massena Central High School has over 120 students from Akwesasne.
