Nominations were held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 for the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education in the Districts of Kanatakon and Tsi Snaihne. An election was not needed as there were only two candidates who accepted their nomination and they were acclaimed into the position.

No appeals were received by the deadline, which was Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 6 p.m.
