Indian Time - A Voice from the Eastern Door

In an effort to save money, a food co-op would help to reduce grocery bills. As with other food co-ops it will require pre-paying. The more people that join the co-op, equals larger purchasing power, which in turn equals lower prices. Starting with purchasing power that would only require a 14ft truck would be a good start. Eventually an order that requires a tractor trailer (18 wheeler) is the goal. A facility to handle such a large order might require help from SRMT by way of connecting us with our Casino, Community Food Distribution Building or even a parking [lot] will do. The food company can drop off the trailer and schedule a pick-up when trailer is empty, at a later time. If it’s a refrigerated truck, an extension cord and receptacle will be needed. To unload such a large order, volunteers will be needed. They could range from individuals, groups, hockey, lacrosse or softball teams, Chiefs and Sub-Chiefs, basically anyone. With savings such as these, an individual could make the leap from hamburger to prime rib. Invoices will be posted on-site to prove non-profit. Currently working with SRMT to move location.

Flea Market and Rent-Free Casino Booths

Also possibly coming soon, Flea Market and Rent-Free Casino Booths. Although these are not jobs, it is a way of earning extra money and get your skills put into the publics’ eye. At the Flea Market an individual could sell retail items, either hand-made, new or used items. Also at the Flea Market an individual could showcase themselves as a trades person or professional. There is an expression that states you need “LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION” to be a success. What better location than our Casino. Outside marketing has a very short season. On the other hand, inside rent-free booths has a year-round chance of success. Currently working with SRMT for location at our Casino Parking Lot and inside rent-free booths.
