DIRECTOR OF CARE

Salary Level: RN 02 $73,225.20 - $84,887.85

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Program Manager and as part of the management team, the Director of Care is responsible for the management and leadership of all aspects of resident care services and promoting and fostering the Resident Centered Model of Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse with a current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario; an R.N. with a B.S.N. preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years demonstrated work experience in supervision and management in a long-term care setting or nursing home industry and extensive work experience in a clinical management role will be considered.

• A minimum of 3 years experience in leadership and mentoring.

• Certification in CPR & First Aid, mandatory
