New York State Police blotter:

Troopers say they responded to a two-car crash July 1. Robert D. Sunday, 32, of Akwesasne, N.Y. and Wesley G. Gray, 68, Hogansburg collided at 10:27 p.m. July 1 on state Route 37 near Cook Road, troopers said. There were no injuries. No charges were filed.

Massena Village Police blotter:

David J. Johnson, 32, of Hogansburg was charged with unregistered motor vehicle at 4:07 p.m. June 29 on East Orvis Street.

Sentencing:

Acting Franklin County Judge Jerome Richards recently sentenced Carlos Rodriguez, 51, of Hogansburg, to five years of probation for first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, felony. He was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine. The charge stems from an incident March 28, 2015.

BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF AND BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kahiio Oakes, age 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on June 30, 2016. He is bound by a Bail Order with the relevant conditions to reside at a particular residence, to not change his address without prior authorization from court or the Crown, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on June 22, 2015, he made a hole in his apartment wall and gained access into his landlord’s office. It is further alleged that on June 24, 2016, Oakes made another hole is his apartment wall large enough to see into the apartment beside him. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. Mr. Oakes was subsequently charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Under $5000, and 4 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
